"Conway": Trail Boss Wannabe Gelding Seeks Confident Rider

Conway is a truly wonderful horse with so much to offer the right person. He thrives on consistency, trust, and companionship and would be happiest with one dedicated person or a small circle of familiar riders who can build a genuine relationship with him. Once that bond is established, he's an absolute gem!

Conway came to us from a local lesson program in December 2025. He was not working out in their lesson program, which is mostly arena-based with goals to show. We gave him a whirl and what we've seen is that Conway is a truly wonderful horse with so much to offer the right person. While he doesn't particularly enjoy a constant rotation of unfamiliar riders, he thrives on consistency, trust, and companionship. He would be happiest with one dedicated person or a small circle of familiar riders who can build a genuine relationship with him. Once that bond is established, he's an absolute gem.

DISCLAIMER: Conway is NOT AN OUTLAW! He just likes follow-through: and who doesn't? If I tell you I want you to call me at 6pm and you don't, wouldn't you like for me to call you at 6:10pm and check in? Conway flourishes with *support*, which inexperienced and unsure riders cannot offer him. He gets burned out and frustrated with riders who give inconsistent and awkward cues: he doesn't do anything explosive by any means, but it is obvious he's not enjoying himself and a happy horse is a must around here.

HEALTH & CARE:

Conway has been an easy keeper for us! He does have front shoes on, as is protocol for us with just about any horse in work on this property. He can be turned out in a big herd without complication and he's pleasant to work around in the barn.

Selling as SOUND & SANE & READY to go!
