Penny is a lovely young registered Haflinger mare with a bright future and endless potential! With her whole life ahead of her, she offers a wonderful opportunity for someone looking to develop a versatile partner of their own. Whether your goals include trail riding, driving, showing, or simply enjoying a beautiful all-around horse, Penny is a promising prospect with plenty of possibilities!
We purchased Penny in May of 2024 with intent to cross her with our Pony of America stallion, KSS Red White and Nifty. She gave us a beautiful colt in June 2025 and was a great mama.
We discontinued our breeding program in 2025 and put time into Penny over the summer of 2026 to turn her into a trail horse. She has proven herself to be pliable, eager to please, gentle, kind, and intelligent. She got bumped off the docket when things became busy this summer and now it's time for her to be the star of the show!
**Penny does have clubby front feet (estimated at grade 2) that do not seem to bother or limit her at all. We did put front shoes on her 10/20 in preparation for this sale but prior to that, we have only had her barefoot.**
Penny has no known health issues, has never been lame or had an illness or injury while on our property. She will lead, load, tie, bathe, etc., without issue. Penny gets along great with everyone and would make a phenomenal addition to any farm!
