SVF King Of Hearts is a striking 16hh Friesian/Appaloosa cross with an irresistible personality! Born and raised on our farm, King is a goofy, affectionate, Labrador-like gentleman who loves attention and adventure. More whoa than go, he's a seasoned trail mount who confidently navigates water, traffic, and livestock. Quiet, curious, and willing, King is a lovable, versatile partner with so much to offer!
"SVF King Of Hearts" was born on May 18, 2020. He is sired by our Friesian stallion, Royal, and out of our Appaloosa/Colorado Ranger Horse, Aspen (Waps Lady in Red).
On 10/20, King was measured at 16hh. He is barefoot currently. He's been ridden on trails this summer and we have put front shoes on him for the purposes of crossing rockier areas of the farm. He does not need shoes to be sound.
Since day one, we've had our hands on King. He's been delightful to interact with and has a goofy, ditzy kind of personality that is endearing to all who encounter him. King is more whoa than go, but will lope off without fanfare. He has carried clients on our trail program, crossing water and maneuvering through traffic, going through cows and pigs and of course living with our camel. He's the coolest guy!
King is more whoa than go and would really enjoy a job that stimulates him mentally. He is curious, outgoing, very much a "Labrador" kind of personality. We are King's one and only owner. Saying goodbye is going to be bittersweet but this guy is on to bigger and better things!
